Talk about political theater. He’s just so grossly dangerous.
As I was walking last evening, I passed a 30-40 year old woman who looked well educated wearing a tRump cap, which is very unusual here. First thought - “she must be a neighbor but we could never be friends.”
@evamarie I wish it was unusual here. Suburb of major metropolitan area, which tends toward Biden, but I'm surrounded by Trump voters.
We have a lot of military folks in my area, people who work at Scofield Barracks or Joint Base Pearl Harbor/Hickam. Many of them appear to be tRump supporters.
Hawaii is not majority white: we have large Japanese, Chinese, Korean, Filipino and Native Hawaiian communities. Needless to say, tRump has insulted all of these folks. To see a MAGA hat here is like a neon sign saying “I hate the majority of the people on this island.”
@evamarie Unfortunately, most of the Trump supporters who live around me would probably feel the same. They're all about hate. The only saving grace is that most of them have at least stopped talking about him.
