The world's biggest collection of obsolete sounds and disappearing sounds - remixed and reimagined by artists all over the world. citiesandmemory.com/obsolete-s

@estherschindler I love this. The ASR-33 and the rotary telephone bring back so many memories. Do you know of a collection of sounds from 1960s computers - card readers, printers, tape drives (loading, reading, rewinding, unloading), etc.?

@estherschindler The reason I ask is because I use the wonderful Burroughs B5500 emulator from the University of Tasmania. It faithfully models all the peripherals, but if sounds were available, it could be taken to the next level.

@peterquirk OMG I think my brother in law used that actual computer as late as the mid90s.

Did you look on the retrocomputing forum on stack overflow? The people there may have ideas. (Though it's an odd community so don't be surprised if not.)

@estherschindler Thanks - I'll check it out. I found this one - the first computer I ever saw. My father worked here and invited me to come to the office (age 12 in '64) while the guys in lab coats explained how it worked.
