My Amazon review of _1632_ by Eric Flint

The best element in this time travel book is its premise. Instead of a single person thrown into another place-and-time, an entire West Virginian town is dropped into Germany during the 30-years war. Worth it for the world-building despite plot/pacing unsteadiness.
