We have lots of wild turkeys here too. They're so TALL!
@estherschindler my municipality essentially made it impossible to raise farm animals, unless you own 5 acres of land
@Kinnison My neighborhood has some horse properties -- usually an acre or so -- and at least one family has chickens. Or did, at one point; I haven't heard the rooster crow in a while. (We also have had an influx of coyote.)
@estherschindler I'd just go grab one wandering around the neighborhood. There's a lot of wildlife living in Asheville.
