In case you're shopping for luggage... I gave this American Tourister Carry-On 4 stars.
But more because of "value for the money" rather than because I think it's a superb suitcase.
@artemis I'm always loading up my luggage with heavy stuff -- is it possible to return from a trip without buying more books?! -- so I'm less interested in a bag being light than it being sturdy and easy-to-transport.
I have a Thule on its way to me; I have better expectations for that one!
Still, it's hard to justify $300+ for a bag if you travel infrequently. There have been some years where I racked up 35k miles, so I'm willing to spend the money.

Thank you for sharing. That's a very useful review.
For much of my travel, I tend to use the ultra-light iTLuggage. 2-3 lb less for my carryon seems to win most of the time. Among hard-siders, the one you reviewed seems to be on the lighter side, so I'll definitely keep it in mind.
