I had the most random SMS conversation last night out of the blue from an unknown (to me) number. This was hours after I posted on Twitter that I was done with the site. I have so many questions.
Twitter on why it didn't delete anti-Muslim tweets: "To help ensure people have an opportunity to see every side of an issue, there may be the rare occasion when we allow controversial content or behavior which may otherwise violate our rules."
This was their response to POTUS Britain First retweets and why he didn’t violate TOS.

I've been on Twitter since the beginning, and I've watched it turn into a cesspool of hate, propaganda, abuse, and bigotry. They can save it, but their failed leadership refuses to act. So I've looked for lots of alternatives, and counter.social is the first one I'm actually optimistic about. Thank you, @th3j35t3r for building this.
