@wolpertinger Daaaang. When we got rid of our 2004 car in 2019, it had ~250,000 miles on it. Been driving a lot less more recently.

As a possible "last car to hand down to a grandkid" I'd recommend either something future-proof and practical (a high quality EV like a Hyundai Ioniq 5) or something that will be a "fun classic" like a Mustang.
