If someone tells you regularly that their home is tiny, cluttered, and the electric is crappy...
Please don't regularly gift them expensive, large, high energy devices.
Currently dealing with an upset grandma who ignored me every single time I told her these things, and is mad that I just can't use an expensive, large, high draw gift, even if I might like it.
@ehurtley ha! I have a portable ac/heater, but I have to run it with an extension cord to the one outlet on its own circuit in the bathroom. Yes, it's a quality extension cord and handles the load perfectly.
