D&D night - I run up to the group of big baddies to distract them and protect our newly crowned king.
One baddy walks up, deals my current HP + 6 damage in one hit. BUT! I have spell that lets me heal 3d6 as I'm dropped to 0!
I roll 5.
I'm still at -1 HP.
