This is a new kind of DIP of Deceptive Imagery Persuasion that I might call “Counterfeit Proof Tactic” or CPT. Where an actor creates a fake that can be used by a consumer precisely to manufacture debunking articles about the fake after the fake spreads by users who believe that it is real.
