Vodafone merger ‘could leave 1m Three customers unable to find cheaper deals’

Unite union makes claim as it calls on CMA to block tie-up that would bring 27m customers under one provider - Vodafone and Three have argued the current market consisting of four mobile network operators is unsustainable and consolidation is needed because of demand for greater investment in 5G networks

Unite’s submissions, published on the CMA’s website, the union said a study conducted by the research agency Survation of 1,000 Three UK consumers showed price was the main driver for the network’s customers. Its study found 39% of Three users said they would switch to an alternative operator post-merger,with 9% saying they would move to Vodafone

funny thing is they 4 all have smaller companies piggybacking of their towers and infrastructure

And out of all they smaller companies the big 4 actually own a heck of a lot of them and offer better deals than the parent company does lol
