did you know

entering

data:text/html, <html contenteditable>

in your Chrome's address bar you'll be presented with an editable page just like Notepad and TextEdit. You can even save the document (as an HTML page) by hitting Ctrl + S.

It's worth bookmarking the link—although it's basic it will work 100 percent of the time, giving you a fail-safe option in an emergency.

@ecksmc entering that command in the address bar in Android's Chrome works, do you know if it's possibble to save the document?

@ordenauta i haven't found any way to save it on android

tried saving as a bookmark and sharing the URL after creating a note but doesn't work

all i can suggest is leaving the tab open but if chrome closes it you'll lose the note - so, only do it if you intend it to be short term

you could do it in an incognito window/tab that way it will lock when you leave the tab and only you can open it again using pin/finger print << privacy & security setting to turn that on 👍
