over past few weeka thw play apps and play store on my chromebook aren't working
so, maybe after this #ChromeOS update which is in progress might fix that issue
if not and if you are experiencing the same issues >> apps downloading/updating stuck on PENDING then there are a few fixes for this some are easy and could work others more extreme like a full powerwash to start again

the OS update seems to have sorted the store apps pending issue
now i can update the few apps i have installed
personally i don't use a lot of installed apps on my chromebook prefer using PWA over fully installed apps for mostly everything as long as there is site to create a PWA then why instal seperate app which can hog resources and make chromebook glitchy
@opie i use everything as a PWA CoSo Tweedeck and loads of other sites
i need a new chromecast myself miss my old one was so handy at times
i had more devices back then right enough i'm down to three now 😢 had one just for casting also
need to save my pennies and get my set up back the way it was i miss that old set up << fecking house breakers gggggrrrrrrrr
my previous setup was 2 plain ole chromecasts on each tv with tablet to cast
new setup is one CCGTV and one plain CC on each tv...and i'm lovin it

last time it wasn't in the drawer, the only PWA was HBO Max (cuz they rock)...everything else sucked
I was using the slate for a not intended purpose tho...I used to use a tablet as my "remote" to cast things to chromecast...and slate sucked at it
now I have Chromecast+GoogleTV (basically AndroidTV) makin my stream self reliant...so maybe I'll break out the slate to do non stream things... 🤔
