most of the time anyway using google's alerts page is faster than other alert services at least 75% depending on the other services you use to keep you alert
that and it's free to set up as many alerts as you want and the alerts will be pushed to your gmail or you can manually check each alert by tapping it on the home set up page
example: and yes i have had a few "hits" over the last 2yrs when i set that up(for fun as well)
