You go to a website or service, but before access is granted, there’s a visual challenge that forces you to select bikes, buses or traffic lights in a set of images. That can be an exasperating experience. Now, if you have iOS 16 on your iPhone, those days could be over and are just a one-time toggle enabled away.

@ecksmc

do you know how I can do this on my WIN11 laptop....ever since I upgraded my Proton VPN I get this challenge every time I search on google using Chrome 😩

@killagator are you using incognito mode ? I do know that issue you're having happens with a lot of VPNs in incognito mode with chrome(just tried it again and yup got the CAPTCHAs BUT no CAPTCHAs outside incognito mode)

only other thing i can suggest is try different servers from proton VPN

You might be connecting to a Tor connection

I'm using proton VPN myself and Netherlands servers work fine with chrome browser

@ecksmc

I am.....I guess I don't need to with the VPN huh?

@killagator Incognito mode leaves no trace of your online activity on your browser, but it doesn't guarantee private browsing or prevent web tracking, so depends on why you are using a VPN in first place 👍

Here's a better "deep dive" into incognito mode

@ecksmc

I tried it a little without it and didn't get any captchas.....🤔

Thanks! 👊 👍
