You also probably blindly clicked on any new permissions the addon asked for, because it’s a browser extension you’ve been using for years. No biggie, right?
The terms of the deal have not been disclosed. The current GitHub account hosting the code, greatsuspender, offers no clue as to the owner's identity and no means of contact, apart from a support email address listed on extensions Chrome Web Store page
