create your own custom emoji on Android phones
Emoji Kitchen is in the process of getting a huge new update which fundamentally changes how it works. Now, instead of selecting a single emoji and being shown various alternatives, you select two different ones, and your phone will smush them together to create your custom emoji
Apparently this new feature is currently rolling out to beta users of Gboard,

i'm a Gboard beta tester and i have never seen this feature lol
just updating my GBoard now
so, far i haven't got this on one device after the update
wonder if it's a Android 11 thing only
Fun Fact
The Emoji Kitchen feature does seem awfully similar to the Emoji Mashup Bot, which is a Twitter bot that's been (brilliantly) combining emoji icons since July 2019
