When ignorant people do ignorant things... so I just watched somebody Park in a handicap spot at the store and when I brought it to her attention respectfully she gave me the bird so I said okay I got you and informed the manager in the store... the girl decided to move her car and proceeded to park in a no parking fire zone and what was even funnier is there was a fire department official in the store who saw her do that and came out of the store and said nope not there... #ignorancesucks
@duglop ignorance definitely sucks and sounds like in this case your instincts were spot on. But I would caution that sometimes people don’t have visible handicaps.
@badkoukla she's not handicapped she was just ignorant she didn't want to park and walk 15-20 steps to the front door
@duglop No argument from me in this case - you were there, and clearly read the situation right. She deserves to be shamed.
@badkoukla well I can't say for other states but in Illinois if you're going to park in one you have to have your placard displayed whether it's on a license plate hanging on your mirror or a placard in your windshield but I think they're doing away with hanging a sign on the mirror though... The penalty for failure to do so amounts to a misdemeanor with up to $2,500 fine
