Question for my folks who like to beautify their lives with #cute things or #accessories. Which do y'all prefer? Idk what to tag this, yikes.
@buta I'm the SAME way lol. The ADHD in me causes me to have multiple drinks all at once, so I just.....collect drinkware & mugs pftttttt 🤣
@duckysoba Not to complicate your offerings, but have you considered greeting cards? I've done them for the past year or so and I have an easier time getting them into stores and coffee shops than other offerings.

My big thing is that the margins on those other products can be so narrow. I had a Society6 store for awhile and I was making maybe $1 off each sale. With cards, it's costing me $1 to print and I sell for $5 to $6.
@athenacooper This is a good idea!! I know my best bet right now, starting off, would be to offer cards/stickers & possibly journals. I've been eyeballing greeting cards for a while but my mind won't convince me the stuff I have would look good as a card. I can't get out of my own way 😤
@duckysoba Honestly don’t beat yourself up about this stuff. It is HARD and there is a lot of trial and error involved.
For myself, I found a local printer that would do tiny batch runs of cards—eg. 100 blank greeting cards but I could test by doing 5 cards of this design and 20 cards of another design to get to the total of 100 cards which would have a bulk price of about that $1 per card.
@duckysoba There were dog card designs that I created from my pet portrait commissions that I absolutely thought would fly off the shelves but I have gotten little interest. Then there’s my Calgary centric cards that seem to be slow but steady sellers.
@duckysoba I am very guilty of buying and owning more mugs than I really need. 😂 But they're soooooo goooooood, and compliment my tea drinking too!
