@DualReality69 The ability to home school is a sign of privilege. But it doesn’t necessarily mean success, even with good grades. I saw this as a university employee. Home school kids often weren’t used to the competition and deadlines. And I had moms contact me (adjunct professor) about grades and assignments, getting upset when I couldn’t respond.

@TheresaVermont @DualReality69 Kids who grow up thinking the world revolves around them will be in for a rude awakening when they finally have to function in a world that is cruel and does not see them as special.

Bending to fit them is not doing them any favors in developing coping skills to deal with disappointment and non-ideal circumstances that they will have to face.
