Scary thing happened here today....I had my microwave on cooking a yam and went for a shower. Only gone 10 min opened door and smoke filled the hall and rooms so thick could hardly see.
Microwave caught on fire and it was an electrical fire stinking up the whole house. Have all the doors/windows open fans going exchanging air for 2 hours now.
Lesson...never leave the room if microwave is going It does happen folks.
