Decided to hang back and make stuffed cabbage instead of lowes.

It was one of my MILs favorite dishes & now I have no one to eat it with. πŸ˜”

It's a recipe from my husband's aunt who married into the family. She hailed from Poland. She was a great cook & always shared her dishes with me. She made some type of pork in sauerkraut that I don't have the recipe for.

Husband calls it stuffed garbage lol -doesn't care for the smell.

Thankfully it freezes well.

@KazzyH

My mom's family were from Poland and same so many great dishes. One was polish pork sausage mixed with saurkraut.

I'm a huuuuge fan of Polish food. There is a farmers market every Saturday near my daughter that has a polish stand filled with the most delish food. The pierogi the sauerkraut the sausage oh my my mouth is watering!

I hope they are still there! Not sure if they are from NJ or PA. Can't remember the name of the place. Ugh.

So I spent a while finding them 🀣 kraukus deli in Phippsurg NJ.

Must make a special trip up if they are not at the farmers mkt. Because now I want everything they make lol...πŸ˜…

You live in/near P-burg? So do I.

Krakus Deli a mile away from where I live. Lots of folks recommend their Polish delicacies.
