I have a relative who works at modern Bell things have changed since then.

I did work at a company and had to temp on switchboard when the operator quit and walked out I was shown the unit and said hope you can learn it fast.

I managed the communication department at major Denver hospital. We had 19 operators to process thousands of calls, process daily fire response, helicopter landings, Core Zero response for patients near death etc.

Very stressful job 24/7 but we had some super stars.
