Ex-Mayor Nenshi joins NDP race; slams Smith's 'playground fights'
Former Calgary mayor Naheed Nenshi offers himself as the outsider who can build a broad coalition to defeat the UCP and defend core values of tolerance and inclusion.
We all got to know Nenshi during his press conferences about the flood of 2013. I don't know much about his politics but I do know he's an adult, decent, inclusive, and qualified.
Nenshi is a liberal at heart. I think Notley was moving in that direction a bit.
We thought he would be the liberal leader here so NDP will work.
I am voting for him.
One thing Nenshi will do is bait Danelle a lot he has known her for 30 years and says she is terrified of him.
It will be fun to watch.π
Looking forward to that. He's a clever man and good in front of a camera.
