Hi and welcome! Sanitizer will indeed remove tracking elements from pasted links.
Also note: when pasting links that you want left intact, include /nosanitize (just like that) in the post.

I think this is covered in the User Guide better than I can; check the link on my profile or one of the may welcome posts.
