@floryloughead fortunately not an issue with my husband but the number of times I have heard that from other people, including "it's NBD if Trump wins bc checks & balances etc" is absolutely infuriating. those people are going to be standing their holding their asses going "but but... he can't do that... that's illegal..." as we're all shipped off to the gulags.

Trump has already stacked the courts at all levels, with people who are willing to interpret the constitution in ways that greatly expand his power and limit personal freedoms. And will do so further.
