I suppose decades of being taught that any criticism of the Israeli state is anti-Zionism and anti-Semitism, plus a couple of decades of "there's terrorists here, wipe the country off the map" has ideologically cornered people.
the entire point of Catholicism is that the Pope is literally the voice of God. if you disagree with the Pope, you disagree with God. Pope Francis is the single greatest thing to happen to Catholicism in the history of the Church & y'all are so deep in your bigotry that you're like "NAH FIGHT ME GOD"

Not agreeing with what the Israeli government is doing in Gaza is not anti-Semitism. I don't agree with what Israel's government is doing in Gaza. It is overkill. So many innocent children and Palestinians have been killed. Israel had every right to retaliate but enough is enough.
And so Israel becomes America. "I don't think peace is possible, so let's do a genocide."
