I was visiting someone in a nursing home in 2020 just as the shut down began due to Covid. There was a long time permanent resident there who shared the same room. They would put her in a chair in the hallway and she would sit there for what seemed like hours. I saw her daughter visit her a couple of times. You could tell the daughter would have rather been somewhere else.
