Everybody just take a day, take two days, take a week, whatever you need.

It's perfectly ok to be feeling how you are feeling right now.

What's not ok is to give in. It's not ok to play the blame game, it's not ok to play "woulda coulda shoulda", and it's not ok to be intimidated and stand by passively as the rights of others are savagely torn from them.

We have work to do, again. I know it seems like it never ends, but it will end.

The Washington Post has its motto, "Democracy Dies in Darkness".

I will tell you now that evil thrives in darkness, and it's up to us and millions of others like us to shine a light into the darkest corners and expose the fuckery and corruption that is to come.

Your voice is powerful, and valuable. Use it.

Remember, giving up hope is a choice. A conscious choice.

The struggle is going to get very real, I won't lie to you about that.

It will be exhausting.

I recommend tuning out the outrage farming; you're no good to anybody if you're outraged and that's why it's done. To unbalance you.

Be your best. Be the hero you deserve. Unleash your inner warrior. It's an honor to serve with you all.

@JolieSaboteuse Ok. You win. I generally only allow myself 24 hours of demoralization.
