We drove quite a bit longer than five minutes to get to the market, because we wanted to check out a WinCo.

A lot of positive points: the prices are GREAT, and in general, they've got a pretty vast selection of items, but with a bunch of weird gaps.

No mineral water. At all.

Downside: it's HUGE, it's literally exhausting to shop there with Three-Year-Old, who developed an outright fascination with the red-plastic-covered stanchions they mark doors to the back with. He hugged every one.

@mcfate I hate Winco. I go there once a week for the prices. Can't beat the prices. Of course, I hate big stores as a rule.

@dauphin87

I like being able to get a poke bowl and having a good selection of cheese. The produce section is good, but not knowing my way around it makes things take longer.

The selection of bulk goods they had is WILD. They've got millet, which we actually ordered from Amazon after being unable to find it anywhere local.

@mcfate @dauphin87
I can't go in there unsupervised, because of the bulk bins of cinnamon bears.
