Today is Buffalo Solider Day. Buffalo Soldiers were among the first park rangers, patrolling backcountry areas of the Western frontier. They served in Sequoia National Park, evicting poachers, hunting down timber thieves, fighting forest fires, and more. #sequoianationalpark
