Nothing is interesting me on any of the streaming networks. I really need a show or an extended series to watch.
@dauphin87 Bordertown is another great Nordic Noir series
@Blue_Skyesr_here Watched it. It was awesome!
@dauphin87 Oh that's wonderful! I need to re watch it. One of the best on Netflix IMHO π
@dauphin87
Succession on HBO Max
Borgen on Netflix
@Standbyme2018 I was thinking about Borgen.
@dauphin87 To me, it's a vacation from American politics. And I like Denmark.
@dauphin87 what are examples of shows you've liked? What services do you have?
@philipcardella Prime, Netflix, HBOMax, Starz, Disney+. My tastes are all over the map. I generally stay away from straight up horror films. Other than that I'm open.
@dauphin87 Stuff I've enjoyed lately that *might* be less common--or at least I found out about in a round about way:
Our Flag Means Death (c)
Only Murders in the Building (c)
Hacks (c)
HBOMax has all of Studio Gibli (An)
Last Week Tonight always teaches me something new, even on topics I'm very familiar with (N)
All of Robot Chicken is on HBO (an and NSFW)
Around the World in 80 Days (Adv)
C-comedy
An-Animated
N-News
Adv-Adventure
I'll continue to think
@dauphin87 Let me know if you want a description of any. None of these are very obscure, but I guess I can say I was surprised to find them and enjoyed them.
@dauphin87 Also, if you have anything to recommend, by all means send 'em my way.
I've seen all of the Marvel and Star Wars shows (at least once, because I'm a nerd).
@dauphin87 I loved Annika I think on Prime or PBS. Great references to history, art, literature
@dauphin87 I've been hooked on Tin Star on Amazon Prime. Tim Roth and Christina Hendricks. Started it on a whim (because Tim Roth) and it's fantastic.
@dauphin87 Stranger Things?
