when on a 2-lane freeway (like I-5 through WA/OR/CA), how do you use the lanes?

@_jeremygray To expand on that, the left lane is for passing, so you're not allowed to drive in that lane otherwise; however, you cannot drive faster than the speed limit to pass, even if it's on the left. The vehicle in front, on the right, must be driving under the speed limit for you to legally pass them, on their left, no faster than the limit. It's really a complete waste of a lane - I want to pass them at 100 mph if I so choose. 😄
