@feloneouscat agreed and that include state infrastructure too. Some of which is running ancient versions of Windows. We should have some hardened version of Linux and keep the Windows machines off the internet.

@danalan every opportunity to to collect data on end users for psychometric profiling, analysis, feeding AI to sell customer information that may be used to for law enforcement (it’s not an illegal search if it’s paid for data), deny or up charge services like insurance or credit, employment/background checks and attempts at yet more targeted advertising & who knows maybe target political enemies.
