Last week a blue jay took a shit on me while I was talking on the phone with Mom on the patio! 🤣 Nailed my head, arm and leg! I like to think that somehow translates to, "Thank you kindly for all the peanuts." 😂

Lowe’s carries deer corn. Guessing groundhog will like that too when it’s cold.

Corn is a big winter favorite around here! The larger birds like bluejays and doves like it, plus the squirrels. The raccoons are always happy to clean up any leftovers.
I don't know yet whether rabbits like it or not, they're a new addition this year. Last winter they fared well on all the shrubs and stuff we have around here, and the grass always has some green in it.
I love knowing so many others are watching out for the critters! 🐾 🥰

We have a hefty groundhog who doesn’t know I will be putting out food for him & deer this winter.
