I"m trying to be more involved on CoSo, but I have a professional obligation that ties me to the birdcage. I was using the twitter gateway to toot into CoSo, but that has stopped working. Any suggestions on how to overcome this without increasing my workload and time commitment to social media substantially?

@Minholkin @Gippy @cyberstratprof We're adding new features too, exclusive to CoSo - like 'COSOGUARD' (already live) and 'COSOCOM' (later this week).

Has there been any developments on the mastodon front? It would seem that with all of the "Facebook" frenzy people might be more interested in an alternative option.

How many people on here toot under their own name? Why do you , or don't you as appropriate?

The chaos coming out of DC today is astounding.

I'm noticing that linking my birdcage account and here aren't working. Is anyone else having the same problem?

If being active on socials has taught be anything, it is the inability of some people to: 1) view the world in anything but the most narrow political construct, and 2) hold their tongue about it.

A real challenge in life and in your career is learning to take "Yes" for an answer, especially when it isn't the yes you wanted to hear.

Transnational norms which impeded national interests are hard to sustain when they are well established. Getting new norms off the ground that would remove a crucial facet of a great power's statecraft will be virtually impossible.

One of the funniest things about @[email protected] is how the ways political scientists approach the hashtag differs from the general public. It's as if there are two totally different ideas about what political science is.

Let that be a lesson to you. When you pick your call sign, make sure it allows some plausible deniability.
