I’m truly in awe at the incompetence of Pat Gelsinger at Intel. I’m 100% sure that I could’ve run the company better than him over the past 3 years.
@S_r_stone literally all he had to do to succeed was be the first Intel CEO in a decade to tell the truth and he preferred to continue the company’s tradition of habitual lies about timelines and vaporware.
@crimsonblue I am continually in awe of how little work and merit have to do with those who rise to the C suite in companies.
It is more correlated to political positioning and a little bit of flexible ethics than competence and vision. That "flexible " is usually flexed in all the bad ways.
