@KazzyH honestly I'm really beginning to suspect there is something wrong with my meter the stupid text usage number told me I used 40 kwhs the day before I put my ac in. When it was in the 60s outside
@KazzyH that's not at all troublesome, did they replace your meter at all? My other friend that suggested I call them out, had them out and they found her meter was either 86 or 96 percent accurate ( can't remember what percentage she said)
Also are the averaging your billing? Based off previous months use and the actual amount used when they come out to read it?
Also it seems odd that they can't remotely read the meter, they sure have enough equipment in my town to read all 2.6k of us -_-
Our bill is consistently lower on live read. But then again it depends on the ridiculous delivery charge.
Oh and during the pandemic we stayed home for Christmas and I got a crazy bill so I called and was told it was probably my christmas lights. Had to laugh.
How did they know what if anything I celebrate? And why would I hang christmas lights in the middle of the woods? so the deer can enjoy?
Also the call center was in Texas.
Mayeb reading every other month works out in the end money wise idk I just know they are ridiculous and overpriced.

Our power was out during a wicked snow storm for 5 days we were the only people in town this happened to. Everyone else got power back. They kept telling us they were receiving a signal. No. No you are not. Impossible.
One December while we were away we got a bill for 3748493 whatever way way too high $$ umm I understand we had to pay for delivery whether we use it or not but we were not home & they used the smart meter to read. So now they come out every other month.
