Hey anybody else been getting
WU02:FS01:Server responded WORK_QUIT (404)
WARNING:WU02:FS01:Server did not like results, dumping
when a GPU WU completes lately?
I'm helping out with the beta and that might be the case... but wanted to ask around before I start bugging people in the corresponding chats
@crazyuncleharris
Only errors I’m getting are when I click the countersocial team link (404) I don’t show any credits & don't yet appear in the list here.
@Zaptrapped that link on the webClient has never worked right AFAIK. On the bug scale that rates as a feature request currently.
have u returned any work to the server yet? a WU needs to complete before you'll get any credit
and even than that's slightly delayed on F@H's end due to processing demands
and then whenever F@H finally gives u credit it'll take a couple of hours for it to update over here depending on when u were given credit & @th3j35t3r 's script last pulled in an update.
@Zaptrapped @th3j35t3r what's your user name?
You sure you joined our team? Number 262967 ??
I don't think there's a public facing indication of the status of any stats processes but I don't see your username showing up on the stats page yet.
CORRECTED
I just played around with that page a bit, and the only Counter Social user I tried that showed up in search results was me. I get lots of results for similar usernames, but none of them are the CoSo user I was searching for.
But CoSo users *do* show up on the team search page.
Perhaps there was an option somewhere to control whether you show up in the public index?
honestly not sure on that aspect.
it's been awhile (roughly a month & change but feels like an eternity) since I got my passkey, I don't remember there being any option to opt out. But maybe there is
While I'm sure they've got the wrinkles all worked out of distributing massive computing projects to large numbers of contributing processors, I suspect the donor-management end of things may still have some "development opportunities," as we used to call them when I worked at the SAS Institute.
For example, it just let me sign up as Dobo, although (unbeknownst to me) there was already a Dobo.
And it gave me credit for that Dobo's 95 completed WUs.
@Dobo @th3j35t3r @Zaptrapped I've been to a fireside chat with the lead dev + scientists & project "management" there's development opportunities everywhere
