@countZZero did you ever see that lab experiment where there are three test subjects and two of them are "in on it". They play about 10 beeps separated by 1 second and ask each person in turn to say how many beeps they heard. First couple of rounds the 2 ringers (who go first and second) say the right amount, then they start being 1 beep off...?

@countZZero yeh it does. I had a look and I think it's part of the "conformity experiments" devised by someone called Solomon Asch.

Anyway it made me think about how I can second guess myself in a poll if I see other people's answers

Who you vote for, what you might criticise someone for. I guess it explains the discomfort you can feel when two of your social circles who are normally separate collide 😬

Unless you behave exactly the same with everyone, which I think few people do. Not me of course, I'm perfectly balanced 😁
