They run down nursing and teaching degrees as “useless” which makes my hackles go up because I have wonderful people in my life who are still at those jobs or retired after long careers. My mom retired when she was 82, she was doing cases for denials and grievances for an hmo. When she did bedside nursing, she did decades in the ICU. She worked damn hard.
