My head, it spins.

Someone very close to me believes that climate change is fake news. She claims "it doesn't matter anyway, because God is in control of Earth" so all will be fine.

I point out that her Bible clearly states that God gave Man dominion over Earth. She has no response.

I ask her about increasingly severe weather across the globe. She wallows in conspiracy, stating that obviously "someone malicious" has figured out how to control the weather, and is creating havoc.

{sigh}

Have learned the hard way. I finally accept they must cling to their belief as hard as we cling to ours.

@LnzyHou @codeWhisperer One important distinction: We use facts! Like vaccines for polio, measles and more. They use a mystical book and call that absolute law.
