When I was just a small boy, I stumbled on an odd little show playing on PBS, and was instantly hooked. Even way back then, the show felt ancient, with its low-res, black and white video bloom, but it completely captivated me. It still does, to this day.
It's definitely not for everyone, and some simply won't "get it" but I'd like to imagine that someone out there feels the same way about this guy as I do.

@codeWhisperer @realJanet I remember watching Ernie Kovacs on PBS in the late 1970's (possibly early 1980's). The Nairobi Trio was a regular (and strangely memorable) bit. Not sure why they stopped running it.

Oh yes! A real genius of early TV. I barely remember the TV series but do recall that Kovacs' wife Edie Adams was also on the show and did commercials for White Owl Cigars.
