Yeah, I probably have too much time on my hands, but I have a question for anyone who has knowledge in oceanography or sea-floor geology or oil & gas exploration, etc. (which for all of these topics I have almost none).

I have seen these marks that almost look like some sort of vehicle tracks off the coast of WA and CA. I'm guessing that they're probably a natural phenomenon, but am curious if anyone can explain what they are.

Because I am a generally curious cat.

@IrascibleOldMan Just what google maps shows when you click the link. Also, not saying they are tracks, but it's what these images look like. Could also be some sort of imaging anomaly, but if you zoom in and around that area, many cross over each other and have varying sizes. Initially I thought maybe the things that look like 'tracks' are just where the higher-resolution mapping occurred, but the odd ridges are not aligned even when the 'tracks' cross over each other, so just curious.
