Hmm. Posting not working for me for the last few hours... getting a 403 error. Have cleared cache, cleared cookies, tried from a completely different machine (different geographic locale) and not working.

Server hiccups.
A 403 is usually a "sanitizer" problem. Too many mixed quotes, or quotes and pound signs are problematic.
@mcfate I think that must be it. I reworded slightly and then it worked. Lesson learned. ๐
@mcfate I had a word in single quotes that seems to have been preventing it from posting all morning.
That can certainly do it. The sanitizer is flaky in edge cases.
Sometimes I have to call that movie "Lucky Number Slevin" instead of "Lucky # Slevin".
@codeWhisperer Happens from time to time, when new account traffic is high, or when they are upgrading the servers, or both. I imagine this will pass in time as the influx calms, and servers catch up.
403 is the response you get when you trigger the CoSo WAFs...99% of the time it's due to unbalanced single and double quotes which the WAFs block as an attack
@opie Thanks. I am a web dev so I get it, but there were no unbalanced single quotes or anything that I would normally recognize as potentially malicious, so... weird. I will simply try to avoid them in posts from now on. ๐
there's prob other stuff that triggers em, but for me it's basically always quotes
