Looking for any suggestions/experience with this situation. My wife keeps wishing we had friends but whenever I suggest things (trivia, etc) she says she doesn't want to sit with strangers.
@chuck34108 Ask HER what she would like to do. Go to places where there's only small number of people. Get used to having people around her.
@Kittiekatt53 without sounding terrible, she likes going places but then she'll bemoan not having other people to do things with. Funny things is, she's the more social of the two of us but I'm the one most comfortable going into situations where I don't know anyone.
@chuck34108 that is a bind, for sure.
All I can think of is maybe volunteer at the local Humane Society as a way of getting into a social circle? But I've never done that--no clue if it's actually very social.
