Sunday we were hanging out in the downtown area & observing a rotating group of 30-somethings that has taken over a table and chairs in the sidewalk. A core group of three stayed while passerbys they knew would stop, order drinks and sit for a bit, talking animatedly. The casual effortlessness of friends and acquaintances gathering, going on about their day or just enjoying a lazy sunny day made me jealous.
