I'm confused about how the Dems haven't really responded in the airwaves about inflation and the record Corp profits rather than just "yeah, we're trying to slow things down". Also, I thought crime was actually down and red states actually have higher rates than blue, or did I mishear/remember this stat?

@chuck34108 I remember that, too. Crime is tied to the economy so increased inequality creates more crime. Connecting those 2 dots shouldn't be all that tricky, but apparently it is. Dem leadership are heavy investors and do pretty well playing both sides. Alot of the local ones are trying but they seem like they're holding back, maybe that's why?

@JLong yes, they're all about protecting the bottom line but feel like they could fight better to win. I'm always skeptical about the follow thru. With the Repubs tho, I'm confident that they mean what they say 😨

@chuck34108 Yea they mean business this time, it's pretty scary. I wish the left would go hard on wealth inequality because half of this country makes less than 28k. The biggest voting block there is.

@JLong the right has convinced them that they need to protect their "job creators" all while being screwed by them

@chuck34108 It's Stockholm syndrome i guess. Defies all logic.
