If you get a comic or magazine CGC graded, then they are sealed away, never to be read again.
Is it worth it?
@FernLovebond that's my feeling too. I'd love to get a grading on mine (in case I need to sell or something) but if I never do then they'll just sit there like a pie slice in a diner dessert case

IMO, not in the least. Someone wanted to tell a story, & instead of enjoying that story, someone gives the product method (printed object) some value rating, & then nobody actually enjoys the comic. I just wasted that person's efforts. Not to mention all the art & production that went into the interior of the item: all the cover art gets the exposure/enjoyment, but what about the dozens of pages between the covers? Wasted.
Fuck collecting. Enjoy the whole product for what it is!
