How do you tell the difference between a madman and just a blustering, blowhard?

@chuck34108 it is assuming both sides have sane leaders --that is how it works as a deterrent.

Unfortunately, now we are dealing with a mad man--and we are trying to buy time. It is freaking gutting. Part of me thinks it’s a slow march to the inevitable—and just rip the bandaid off….that said better minds than mine see all the parts.

It’s so damn hard….we can’t stare into their destruction forever
